Figure 1 schematically shows, in a side view, a part of a weaving machine with a frame 2, a drawer 3 carrying a reed 4 and a tissue support 1 mounted on the frame 2 of the weaving machine. The weaving machine is an air weaving machine, wherein during the weaving a weft thread (not shown) in a weaving compartment formed by warp threads (not shown) is introduced by means of an air flow into a U-shaped insertion channel 5 of the reed 4, which air flow transports the weft thread through the U-shaped insertion channel 5. That airflow is generated by a main blower (not shown) and by a number of auxiliary blowers (not shown) which are arranged one after the other in an insertion direction along the U-shaped insertion channel 5. In the shown embodiment auxiliary blowers 6 are mounted on the drawer 3. The auxiliary blowers 6 are, for example, stretch blowers arranged on an arrival side of the insert as shown, for example, in WO 2015/177155 A1. In the embodiment shown, the auxiliary blowers 6 are provided on a holder 7 with a tongue 8, which is inserted in a groove provided on a reed bar 9 and clamped between a key 10 and the reed bar 9 for fixing the holder 7 on the drawer 3 . BE2019 / 0032 [13] A method of manufacturing a fabric support (1) for a weaving machine with a support profile (12) and with at least one support table segment (11) formed separately from the support profile (12), the support profile (12) being an elongated base part (14) adapted to be mounted on a frame (2) of the weaving machine and a support table part (15) formed integrally with the elongated base part (14), the support table part (15) having a projection arranged at its end lip portion (20) and an adjacent collar portion (21), said collar portion (21) extending at least upwardly from the elongated base portion (14), and the at least one support table segment (11) having an end-projecting lip portion (22) and includes an adjacent collar portion (23), characterized in that a length of the support table portion (15) is shorter than a length of the elongated base portion (14), and the method includes machining the long throw base member (14) in a position remote from the support table member (15) in a longitudinal direction of the support profile (12) to form a mounting surface (32), and attaching the at least one support table segment (11) separate from the support profile (12) is formed on the elongated base part (14) at the level of the mounting surface (32).
